Membership of ITELORUN MUSLIM COOPERATIVE is built on disciplined savings, regular participation and mutual support under the IMC Constitution.

WHY JOIN

Why join IMC

A structured savings culture with a minimum of ₦1,000 as stated in the Constitution.

Members support one another through the cooperative's basiri and loan structures.

IMC operates as a non-interest cooperative society.

PROCESS

RULES

Any person who wants to join our cooperative society has to inform his/her relative about it (Constitution).
Members must pay their registration fee (card/form) within three weeks of joining the cooperative society (Constitution).
It is prohibited for our members to belong to any other (non-interest) cooperative society (Constitution).
It is prohibited for our members to belong to any interest cooperative society (Constitution).

Maintain savings, development and investment contributions promptly (Constitution).
Attend meetings regularly and punctually (Constitution).
Say the society slogan before speaking at meetings (Constitution).
Repay basiri/soft loan and loan according to the Constitution.
Avoid grudges, backbiting and side meetings after the legal meeting (Constitution).

Participate in basiri/soft loan sharing subject to eligibility (Constitution).
Participate in the Investment structure subject to eligibility (Constitution).
Apply for a cooperative loan subject to the Constitution's conditions.
Nominate a Next of Kin who receives assets held in the society together with the profit (Constitution).
Receive assets within six months of ceasing membership where there is no quarrel, trouble or indebtedness (Constitution).
